Dear Prayer Warrior:
Please use this prayer as a guide. As you pray, listen to the still, small voice of God.
Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you. Pray for persons or situations you may be personally aware of concerning this issue. Use scriptures you know as the sword of the Spirit.
Scripture Praise Focus:
“In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous
but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness”.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today with a heart of gratitude for all You are and all You have done to protect Your little ones from those who have intentions to harm them. There is no doubt you go before each one and make a way even when there seems to be no way. You make rivers in the desert and crooked paths straight. (Isaiah 41:18-20) You and You alone are God. There is none like You in all the earth.
Today we earnestly pray Your Holy Spirit will protect each student on campus from the evil perpetrated against them through spiritual abuse and hypocrisy. Your Word promises us that those who would mislead your little ones or cause them to stumble would be better off if a large millstone were tied around their neck and they would be thrown into the sea. (Mark 9:42).
We pray today that you would reveal all spiritual abuse and hypocrisy for what it is to each student on campus. Give them spiritual discernment to know when someone is abusing their privilege in their lives and trampling upon their spirits.
We know Lord that often the perpetrator of spiritual abuse and hypocrisy is totally unaware of their tendency toward abuse and hypocrisy. Please reveal Your ways to these abusers and show them the error of their ways. Lead them into all truth that they might find the love of God in their hearts and overcome their pasts and the sins of their flesh. May they learn to walk in Your truth and find freedom in You.
We pray today for strength for any student who is in a situation where they feel they are being abused. Please give them a supernatural ability to overcome their abuser by walking away from that situation and removing themselves from unhealthy people in their lives.
May Your Word be a light to their feet and a lamp to their path as they walk away from the bondage of unhealthy relationships resulting from spiritual abuse. Show them they are not to be victims and that victory is theirs if they will rely on You.
As these students trust in You Lord with all of their heart and lean not on their own understanding, may You make all of their paths straight as they submit all of their ways to You. (Proverbs 3:5,6) We praise Your Holy Name for the ways you stand over Your Word to perform it.
We pray this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen
