Dear Prayer Warrior:
Please use this prayer as a guide. As you pray, listen to the still, small voice of God.
Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you. Pray for persons or situations you may be personally aware of concerning this issue. Use scriptures you know as the sword of the Spirit.

“My eyes are ever toward the Lord,

Dear Heavenly Father,
We give You praise and glory because You can do the impossible in the lives of students who are entangled in a web of sexual addiction and pornography. You are able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine. There is nothing too difficult for You. So today, Lord, we ask that You deliver them from this debilitating lifestyle; powerfully rescue them from this evil “net” that would ruin their lives. Please touch their hearts and minds with the power of Your love and presence. Help them deny the lie that the only solution to meeting needs, being popular, or relieving their emotional pain is through sexual stimulation which holds their minds and bodies captive (Romans 7:19). Destroy the lie that they cannot be free. For those who do not know Jesus as Savior, we pray that they would turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, so that they might receive forgiveness of sins (Acts 26:18).
We pray that students decide to deny this behavior by choosing to reflect the character of Christ, Romans 8:29), doing whatever it takes to have a pure heart and transformed life (Romans 12:2), and relying on Christ’s strength (Philippians 4:13). Bring alongside them wise, loving and Godly people who will walk with them as they break the bondage of sexual addiction and pornography. Provide accountability, boundaries, and the desire to get rid of all that leads to entrapment. May the Holy Spirit guide them to make a commitment to Christ and not dwell on an impure thought. May they make a covenant with Christ to live with purity in their hearts. May they have positive role models who show them how to build good habits and to meditate upon all that is good and holy.
Lord, we ask that You change the very atmosphere of the college campus. We pray that the need for false love and passion would be removed. Remove every perversion of sex and open eyes to see the deception that is taking place. May students come to fully realize that You created sex. You created it to be an expression of love to be enjoyed between husband and wife.
Father let there be no confusion in the hearts and minds of the students regarding pure love. Society portrays love in a way that diminishes what You said it is to be. We pray that the students be given other positive outlets while they wait to experience true love with their mate. We pray there will be mutual respect between men and women, and that exploitation of others ceases. Thank You for this future generation and help them lead the way for the good of everyone.
